Bardu is located in central Troms with Setermoen as the centre of the municipality. Bardu borders Sørreisa and Målselv in the north, Salangen and Lavangen in the west and Narvik in the southwest. To the south and east is the national border with Sweden and Kiruna. Bardu has approx. 4.000 inhabitants and has a rich and varied business, sports and cultural life, and there are very good opportunities for outdoor activities, starting from, among other places, Altevatnet and Rohkunborri National Park. j
